Le Patio's September Table: A Full Menu for €40

September at Le Patio means the evenings get a little longer, the river keeps running behind you, and there's a new menu on the table — three courses, full choice at every step, all for €40.

Start with something crisp or something bright: ham, cod, or mushroom croquettes, golden and just out of the fryer — or a cherry tomato salad with cilantro, avocado cream, and fig leaf oil, if you'd rather keep things fresh.

For the main, confit cabbage with sage, hazelnut, orange reduction and romesco — a vegetable dish that eats like a main, not a side — or piri piri chicken, if you're after something with a little heat. Either way, pick a side: a simple fresh salad, or French fries with smoked pepper mayonnaise (the fries win more often than not).

Finish with cheesecake or a chocolate brownie — whichever end to the night you're after.
