Cascada or Le Patio?

Same family, two very different nights. Here's how to choose.

Cascada is our main restaurant, open all year. It's nearly semi-gastronomic, and the signature is our tasting menu — paired with wine and our own charcuterie. It's what Jacques and Mathieu Lagarde are known for, and it's perfect for a romantic evening, a special occasion, or just a serious night out for the food. An à la carte menu is also available. Everyone's welcome here, whether you go all in on the tasting menu or just want a great meal, cooked properly.

In summer, every table sits outside on the terrace. In winter, the fireplace comes on, and Cascada becomes the cosiest spot in Marbella. We're known for our jazz nights, every Friday and Saturday. On Sundays, our guitarist José Ortega plays — he's been with us since opening day, September 4th, 2020. It feels like home.

Le Patio started as something else entirely: first a private event space, then a cocktail lounge. Little by little, it grew into its own restaurant.

What makes it special is the setting. It sits right by the river, under fig, lemon, and orange trees. You feel it the moment you sit down.

The menu here is simpler — croquettes, seasonal salads, things off the grill. Simple cooking, done well. There's no live music, and since Le Patio is fully outdoors, it can't stay open all year, which is why we urge 

Which one? Jacques and Mathieu design both menus, but Cascada and Le Patio each have their own kitchen and their own team — two independent restaurants, not one split in half.

Reservations are made separately for each, since the menus don't overlap and a table at one doesn't guarantee a table at the other.
