Cascada Marbella es uno de los restaurantes más reconocidos de Marbella, situado a sólo 2 minutos del centro comercial La Cañada en Marbella. Inaugurado en septiembre de 2020, el fenomenal éxito del restaurante ha hecho que pase de recibir una media de 20 comensales al día a más de 100 en la actualidad.

 

En nuestro hermoso y espacioso lugar de encuentro, también acogemos muchos eventos, incluyendo bodas, fiestas privadas y funciones de negocios. Nuestra cocina está dirigida por Jacques Lagarde, un experimentado chef galardonado con una estrella Michelin, y todos los platos se inspiran en una rara mezcla de técnicas tradicionales y de vanguardia procedentes de regiones de todo el mundo y elaborados con los productos naturales más frescos de la zona.

 

También tenemos un terreno en Istán, así como dos terrenos a sólo 1 km del restaurante donde cultivamos nuestras propias hierbas y plantas que nuestros chefs incorporan a los platos de Cascada.

FULL TIME  |  45 HRS/WEEK

SOUS CHEF

Your main role is preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section.

Tasks:

  • Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
  • Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
  • Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
  • Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
  • Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
  • Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers

Your profile:

  • Past experience working in a similar role
  • Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Excellent record of kitchen and staff management
  • Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Passion for delivering great food and service

It would be a great plus if you:

  • Have experience in semi-gastro / gastronomic cuisine 

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

Net monthly salary

TRAINING

As part of your employment package, you will embark on an extensive training programme provided by Cascada where you will acquire in-depth knowledge about foraging, lacto-fermentation techniques, homemade cheese, bread and cold meats… and many other aspects that will assist you with your daily duties in the restaurant.

CONTRACT

This position is based on a full-time Spanish contract and subject to all Spanish Social Security benefits. Working hours are 5 days/week on a continuous shift with a 1 hour break each day.

FULL TIME  |  45 HRS/WEEK

COOK

Your main role is preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the speciality section.

Tasks:

  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
  • Cook food in various utensils or grillers
  • Check food while cooking to stir or turn
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

Your profile:

  • Proven experience as cook
  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work in a team

It would be a great plus if you:

  • Have experience in semi-gastro / gastronomic cuisine

HEAD WAITER/WAITRESS

Your main role is to ensure your waiters take good guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen and in addition, memorising the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetisers, desserts, or drinks.

Tasks:

  • Train and supervise restaurant servers to give high standards of service in terms of time, quality, and personalisation
  • Supervises the mise en place of the assigned station to ensure a smooth service during operation
  • Inspect table layouts in the station ensuring that they meet the standards set
  • Check and ensure the serviceability of equipment and furniture
  • Sell food and beverage to meet restaurant budgets
  • Take food and beverage orders correctly
  • Give wine service according to international practices
  • Control the inventory of cutlery and service equipment allotted to the station
  • Assign duties ensuring equity of work

Your profile:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Perfect spoken English and Spanish
  • Able to work autonomously and to solve problems
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Active listening 
  • Good physical condition
  • Customer-centric

It would be a great plus if you:

  • Speak another language like French, Dutch, German, Russian
  • Possess knowledge about wines
  • Have food safety training

Your main role is welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen and in addition, memorising the menu and offering recommendations regarding appetizers, desserts, or drinks.

Tasks:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Always strive towards best customer satisfaction
  • Greet customers and present menus
  • Make suggestions based on their preferences
  • Take and serve food/drinks orders
  • Arrange table settings
  • Always keep the restaurant clean and tidy
  • Check products for quality 
  • Deliver checks and collect payments
  • Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
  • Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Your profile:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Perfect spoken English and Spanish
  • Able to work autonomously and to solve problems
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
